Engrade
Engrade is an online grade book that makes grading papers alot easier for teachers. Being able to imput all your grades into a system that calculates test averages as well as student averages saves alot of time and effort for the grader. Engrade though, does more than just help the teacher, it also helps the student. Students can email their teachers, or teachers email their students all with the click of a button. This email service provides quick communication and ultimately leads to better grades for students and better reviews for teachers. The purpose of using Engrade is more than just communication and grading with the students but also for keeping records and staying organized. Engrade allows you to keep a calendar full of due dates and events for the students and teachers. Overall this is a great program that is beneficial for everyone involved.
I would personally use Engrade in the classroom for all grading purposes and for the majority of my communication outside of the classroom. Engrade provides a great way for grades to be calculated and to communicate back and forth between students. Also, it helps me organize due dates and dates of already submitted assignments.
